About Shop Black Fest

Hi, we're Greg + Tee Westbrook. Husband-wife duo and founders of Shop Black Fest.

We curate a nationwide festival and conference for Black-owned small businesses to:

  • connect with their next customer
  • gain more visibility & exposure
  • prepare for growth

with a suite of vendor events, empowering critical workshops, trainings, free resources and networking opportunities.

Prior to leaving our corporate jobs, we both spent 10+ years working in sales, insurance, and banking. During our time in the corporate world, we simultaneously built 3 successful brands of our own.

In 2018, we decided to leave corporate America behind to pursue the entrepreneurial lifestyle. Since then, we've founded a successful digital marketing business that focuses on content creation, a nationwide organization that facilitates safe spaces for Black Small Business Owners, and a creative community for women that features Tee Westbrooks fashion designs and curations.

Shop Black Fest was founded on Small Business Saturday 2019. Since then we have hosted over 50 different virtual and in person Vendor events for 1500 Black Owned Businesses across 13 cities.

Our Mission

Our goal is to build an ecosystem that will engage, entertain, unify, educate and strengthen underserved communities across the world.

Our festivals and local events all have the same objective, to make sure all of our participants have an amazing experience that helps them generate more revenue for their companies.

We are also launching Shop Black University in 2023 with the aim to helping our vendors increase their bottom line by focusing on core values such as; customer service, sales, and marketing.

As founders, our goal is to share our professional insight, knowledge, and industry experience to help propel small businesses toward growth.
